Sufi Saints : Part 01 Hazrat Khwaja Qutbuddin Bakhtiyar Kaki

HAZRAT KHWAJA QUTUBUDDIN BAKHTIYAR KAAKI

Qutbuddin Bakhtiyar Kaki was born in 569 A.H. in a town called Aush or Awash in Mawar-un-Nahar (Transoxania). His name was Bakhtiyar and titles were Qutub-Ul-Aqtab (Chief of the great saints) and the Qutub-ul-Islam (Chief of Islam). Like his teacher and guide (Khawaja Moin-uddin Chisti) he was Hussain Syed and descendant of Imam Husain. His father, Syed Kamal-uddin, was a resident of the town Uosh in the region of Mavraul Nehr.
Signs of holiness were evident when he was in the womb of his mother. His mother mentioned: "During pregnancy when I woke up for the late-night prayer, I heard the mention of the name of Allah for a short while. " There are many disputes as to his date of birth but his year of birth, as generally agreed, is the year 569 Hijri.

A MUST WATCH !! MOVIE

The Great Gatsby as Book & The Great Gatsby as Movie

"Tom and Daisy were careless people" broke my heart.

"He smiled understandingly-much more than understandingly. It was one of those rare smiles with a quality of eternal reassurance in it, that you may come across four or five times in life. It faced--or seemed to face--the whole external world for an instant, and then concentrated on you with an irresistible prejudice in your favor. It understood you just as far as you wanted to be understood, believed in you as you would like to believe in yourself."

Suchhh a Lovingly Classic movie   Damn Awesome touchy one   Must watch !!

In November, 1930 a public meeting was held in the Victory Playground to celebrate the birthday of Prophet Muhammad. A young man was moving his audience to tears by his oration. Midway through his speech, there was a general commotion. Policemen on duty started blowing whistles nervously. Mir Osman Ali Khan, Nizam VII, had arrived unannounced to attend the meeting. The young speaker paused only for a while and then greeted the newcomer in an emotion-charged manner: “Oh crowned slave of the Muhammad of Arabia, come, let me tell thee about the style of governance of that emperor of both the spiritual and the corporeal worlds."

Nizams of Asaf Jahi Dynasty

The Seven Rulers of the Asif Jahi Dynasty were Mir Qamaruddin, Nizam Ali Khan, Mir Akbar Ali Khan, Mir Farkhanda Ali Khan, Mir Tahniath Ali Khan, Mir Mahaboob Ali Khan, and Mir Osman Ali Khan. The rule of the seven Nizams witnessed the development of Hyderabad. During their period, a number of buildings of archaeological and public importance were built. Some remarkable buildings are the Purani Haveli, Chowmohalla Palace, Osmania University, Jubilee Hall, Assembly Building, Asifia Library, Osmania Hospital, High Court, and the buildings in the Public Garden.

The Asafjahi Nizams are generally counted as seven, though they were ten. Nasir Jung and Muzaffar Jung, son and grandson of the Nizam I who were killed by the Kurnool and Cuddapah Nawabs and Salabatjung who also ruled for a decade, were not counted by the historians though the Mughal emperors at Delhi recognised them as Subedars of the Deccan.
